Can’t serve as a juror during the week you are summoned? You can reschedule your jury service once to a different week.
To reschedule:
- You must complete the form below at least five (5) days before the week you are summoned.
- You must pick a different week to serve. The week you pick must be in the same term of court as the week you have been summoned for or in the next term of court.
- There are four terms of court: (1) September – November, (2) December – February, (3) March – May, and (4) June – August.
- Example: You have been summoned to serve the first week of December but cannot serve. December is the second term of court. You can reschedule to any week in the second term of court (December – February) or in the third term of court (March – May) if the selection for the week you choose has not already been completed.
- You must provide the reason you need to reschedule.
- This must be your first request.
